Apple Inc. is a multinational company that sells consumer electronics, computer software, and personal computers. The company was founded in 1977 by Steve Jobs, Ronald Wayne, and Steve Wozniak.

Apple was incorporated in California in 1977 as a computer manufacturer and sales company. In 1980, it was renamed Apple Computer, Inc., which is the name it still uses today.

Apple’s most popular product line is its iPhone range of smartphones. It also has a range of other products including MacBooks (which are laptops), iPads, iPods (music players), iMacs (high-end desktop PCs), Mac Pro computers for video editing and special effects tasks (purpose-built for creative professionals), as well as Mac Minis for users on the go with their Macbook Airs at home or work.

Apple has been expanding into new areas such as digital magazines through its Newsstand app on iOS devices like iPhones and iPads; music streaming with iTunes Radio; television shows through Apple TV; books through iBooks; games through Game Center; movies through iTunes Store; apps through App Store; games through Game Center; music videos through iTunes Extras.
