Apple Inc. is a multinational company that sells consumer electronics, computer software, and personal computers. The company was founded in 1977 by Steve Jobs, Ronald Wayne, and Steve Wozniak.
Apple was incorporated in California in 1977 as a computer manufacturer and sales company. In 1980, it was renamed Apple Computer, Inc., which is the name it still uses today.
Apple’s most popular product line is its iPhone range of smartphones. It also has a range of other products including MacBooks (which are laptops), iPads, iPods (music players), iMacs (high-end desktop PCs), Mac Pro computers for video editing and special effects tasks (purpose-built for creative professionals), as well as Mac Minis for users on the go with their Macbook Airs at home or work.
